Doubly landlocked (place)

A country is landlocked if it has no ocean borders. A doubly landlocked country is one that is completely surrounded by landlocked countries. Obviously, this does impede trade somewhat.

There are currently only two doubly landlocked countries in the world:

• Liechtenstein, which is surrounded by Austria and Switzerland
• Uzbekistan, which is surrounded by Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan
