A city at the center of Israel,
southeast from Tel Aviv, about 15 KMs far.
originally founded in 716 and "suffered" a series
of conquests, inlcuding the Ottoman Empire in the late
19th century and the British Empire in ~1910,
Now governed by the state of Israel as a place where
Jews, Christians and Muslims live with no differencies.
usually pronunced Ram-Leh or Ram-La by it's locals (I am one of them).
The current mayor is Yoel Lavi who significantly improved
the city's public places and it's education quality.
