Back to the Dim Sum metanode

Yummy. Meat. Seasoned with delicious spices, this dim sum is one of my favorites. Shaped like meatballs, they are extremely fragrant and taste very good. Highly recommended.

  1. Mince the beef and marinate it with lye, bicarbonate of soda, salt and water for 4 hours.
  2. Add potato starch, fat pork pellets, chopped dried tangerine peel, spring onions, pepper powder, water chestnuts starch, light soy sauce, sugar and oil into a bowl and whip them thoroughly. Add adequate amounts of water.
  3. Shape into balls of such a size as you like and steam them for 8 minutes for serving hot.
