What Is It?
Kallmann's Syndrome is a rare disorder that affects approxamatly 1 in every 10,000 men and 1 in every 70,000 women. It is a
hormonal deficiency that results in a failure to go through normal
puberty causing you to remain
sexually underdeveloped and possibly
infertile.
Possible Symptoms:
Sexual underdevelopment
Infertility
No
sense of smell (
anosmia)
Weak sense of smell (
hyposmic)
Possible Treatments
For Men:
1)
Testosterone replacement
2)Induction of
Spermatogenesis
For Women:
1)
Gonadal Steroid Replacement
2)
Induction of
Ovulation
