nodeshell to come across. I shall attempt to fill it.
The area directly below the Sahara desert in Africa. Consists of the savannah and forest regions of Africa.
The Sub-Saharan region of Africa was the first to establish trading routes with the Islamic Berbers of North Africa and through them the Europeans, which caused the emergence and expansion of the early kingdoms of Ghana, Mali, and Songhai.
