Why are so few singers noded? Why doesn't anyone care about music? Here are a few off the top of my head(...ish); I haven't checked them all, but I'm pretty sure none of these famous singers have been noded yet. More added to list as I think of them. What is it like being fictional?
Hard to say. What is it like being you? Not as airy or tenuous as you might suppose. My food and drink, my warmth and fear, are as real to me as yours are to you: and of course the sex is so much better when it's removed from the chains of unfiction.
Were you born?
There are reasons in the darker mists of the story why I need to be genetically related to my sister and my brother. For the moment I can't think of any better way of arranging this than by having been born in the usual way. We are assuming the fairy blood is diluted.
Will you die?
No, I have been assured there is no such thing in store for me, and I am to be consulted on any major decisions. I suppose when my creator dies, it will depend whether provision has been made for me: a graceful retirement into some acknowledged immortal state, or a fading like a memory if caught unexpectedly.
Why do you stay?
Soft lights in upper windows. The silvered darkness of a pond. Adventures in caverns bright with crystals of many colours, where moss and running water lead us to gateposts carved in strange tongues. Snow on the tumulus. Fire made from petals.
This is something like how I came to be.
