Features highly in our collective
psyche. Title of innumerable
poems,
paintings, etchings etc. and at least one
album. Not usually a sign of
quality. Notable example, or at least the first one I came across: "What is so rare as a day in June" from
The Vision of Sir Launfal by
James Russell Lowell, which my grandfather loves and even memorised...
OK, other examples include, a woodcut by Helen Hyde,1910;1 moving, if not from the sublime, to what is probably awful, the title of an episode of the TV series, Combat!2 (not to be confused with Combat or even combat); a not uninteresting personal website brimming with (perhaps teenage) angst;3 some kind of fan zine;4 a painting by George Bellows, 1913;5 damned if I can find the album, but there is one, and also a bunch of other much crappier poems, but I can't find any of those either; and some other stuff.n (where n is a large number)
