This is what I'm cooking right now.

Do-Its:
- Mix all of the dry spices and rub onto the tri-tip steak.
- Put the butter and oiled garlic in the Instant Pot and set on saute.
- Plop the steak in and sear both sides, around four to five minutes a side.
- Stick a trivet under the steak to keep it from burning. Add all of the other ingredients.
- Cook on high pressure for 55 minutes, let it naturally depressurize when done.
- Serve on a bed of rice or mashed potatoes.
If I have any, I will add a cup of Chinese cooking wine or Italian Chianti for a nice flavor. Sometimes I'll use it to deglaze the pot after searing the steak and then chuck everything else in.
