Keeshonds are wonderful dogs closest (as a breed) to a Samoyed, yet completely different in look and appearance. Being one of the Spitz breed of dogs - you'd know them by their curly tails and general furry/fluffyness - they sport a huge grey (and sometimes a hint of biscuit) coloured coats and little 'spectacle' colourations around their eyes. they are a medium sized dog, but don't let that fool you. A Keeshond can grow to become a pretty large creature, and will require a bit of patience when it comes to training and fully enjoying the dog's exuberant personality.

I have a 4 1/2 month old male Keeshond named 'Doggus' (short for Doggus Maximus). Oh shit.....I think he just pissed on the rug. Gotta go.
