pin (verb)- A
wrestling term referring to the state in which one wrestler forcibly contains another wrestler with both
shoulders against the
mat for a period of time. After the amount of time has been reached the wrestler who
excecutes the pin is awarded the win. The required amount of pin time varies depending on the school of wrestling.
