As you might have guessed, a microbrewery located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Baltimore Brewing operate a German/American restaurant and brewpub at the site of their brewhouse, at 104 Albemarle Street in Baltimore. The brewery is best known for making the DeGroen's line of beers, which are widely available in the Midatlantic area, and among the most popular Maryland microbrews. These beers are mainly American interpretations of classic German styles, made in adherence to the Reinheitsgebot, or the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516.
The company was founded in 1989 under the direction of Dutch brewmaster Theo de Groen, trained at the Weihenstephan Institute in Bavaria.
