York, Pennsylvania (place)

York has several other claims to fame, some more dubious than others:

• York is the Factory Tour Capital of the World featuring more factory tours than any other city in the world.
• York claims the highest precentage of racial hate groups per capita of any other city north of the Mason-Dixon Line.
• York was the first capital of the American colonies after the Articles of Confederation were signed (in York no less), prior to the Constitution being ratified.
• The band Live (from York), memorialized their hometown with the loving homage Shit Towne.
• York is home to the USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame, sponsored by York Barbell.
