I am a ‘
strong atheist’ and I would never claim to be
spiritual. That would go against the idea that in the world there is (probably) nothing much more than
people and stuff. The best we can do is try to make each other
happy . .
you get the idea. It
annoys me when people who say they are
atheists try to say they are spiritual too. It is connected to religion and the
godless (like myself) have no claim on it. Just like religion, spirituality is just there to
make people feel better instead of
embracing (and trying to heal) all of the
ugliness in the world.
Let it go (if you can stand to.)
