This is a recipe for lemonade from one of my mom's old cookbooks. It tastes distinctly different than normal lemonade, and has a foam on top*, but you still know it's a lemonade. It's hard to describe, but I like it a lot. Enjoy.

Ingredients:

1 cup lemon juice
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
Ice cubes (I usually put about 4 for this amount, but I don't think it matters much)

Directions

Put the ingredients into a blender and blend on the highest setting until the ice cubes are broken into little pieces. Makes about 3 cups.

(If the lemon juice was refrigerated then the lemonade should be cold enough to drink right away. If not you'll need to refrigerate it if you want it cold. Putting it in the freezer should speed this process up, but don't forget and leave it in there...)

*Too much foam makes it taste worse. I'm not sure which of the ingrediates (or combination thereof) creates is, yet.
