capable of
accepting updates or
add-ons to it's currently-existing
function. Typically only used in
computer geek realms, although I find myself using it for
non-computer things such as
car stereos.
Example use: "Is this computer's memory upgradeable?" "Yes, it currently only has 64MB of memory, but can accept up to 256MB."
