GGZ is an
open-source (
GPL) gaming zone. Like other gaming zones, there are different rooms in which people meet to play games.
A user connects by starting up a GGZ client (there are several) and logging into a GGZ server. They may switch from room to room and chat with other players. Each room is dedicated to one game; while in that room the player may join an existing game table or launch a new one. GGZ then launches the game client and server, and helps them to connect.
