Hmmm, what to say, what to say... Since anything I write will be intrinsically self-indulgent simply by virtue of the fact that it's on the internet, I may as well jot down some vital stats as if anyone really cares. Hurm. I'm 32 years old, but I guess&.I seem younger because I'm not really a "grown up" yet. Meaning... what? Well, I don't own a house, car or boyfriend. I don't even have a cat. What else? I work in the dubious field of "high tech" in sunny (not) Portland, OR, where I talk 2 .lusers on the phone about their internet connections, and work hard writing manuals that are so elegant, so easy to read, so damn fine, that even a luser might conceivably be able to muddle through installing Dial Up Networking without being reduced t.o picking up the phone and calling me to whine "It's not working!" Geek stuff: I run both win95 (ick) and linux (yay) at home, I'm trying to learn more and more UNIX cause for some strange reason it turns me on. I read a lot (as in, books)
