Thou Shalt Fly the Fucking Plane
A quick review of NTSB accident reports indicates that most general aviation accidents are due to the pilot neglecting to follow this very simple rule due to some other emergency, real or imagined. Even if piece are falling off the aircraft, the pilot must follow this rule if he or she wishes to come down in one piece.
