An
indie rock band from the
North Carolina Research Triangle area. Their only full-length album is
The Mayor Will Abdicate (Nov. 1998). Excellent songs include "
What the Sea Left Behind Pt. 1" and "
Butterflies". They have been featured on
The Bridges of Dissonant County and
Pet Sounds comps and have released the
7" Crusades/Me & Kim Il Sung and a
split 7" with
The White Octave on
Tritone Records.
Matty, Eric, James, and Tomich are their names. They play the
Duke Coffeehouse sometimes and get good play on
WXDU.
Ostensibly named after the Allied
firebombing of
Dresden, Germany in the
Second World War.
