A mispronunciation of the
Arabic word
Yil'an, which means something to the
effect of 'will be
cursed'. The
Arabs use this form to soften the expression.
Common usage:
Ina'al rabak - your god be cursed (don't say that to a muslim)
Ina'al abuk - your father be cursed
Ina'al abu abu abuk - the father of the father of your father be cursed
Ina'al abuhu - his father be cursed
Ina'al din ili jabak - the religion of the one who brought your here be cursed
etc...
These phrases are also common in Hebrew slang.
