Japanese people will tack on to names either kun or san. Depending on the gender of the person. Males will get kun, and females and children will get san. When tacked on to the end of a name it makes you sound more polite.
Examples (men):
   (Daniel)kun
   (Peter)kun

Examples (children and women):
   (Rosa)san
   (Jessica)san
   (Bobby)san
When Kun or San is used without any names, it will become either Sir, and Madam.
