Splanchnomancy, from the Greek combining forms splanchno- (σπλάγχνο), meaning viscera, and -manteia (μαντεία), meaning divination, is the act of divination by reading the entrails of a freshly killed human being.

Sometimes also called Anthropomancy, but "Anthropomancy" can encompass broader means of divination using either a living or dead human being and various parts of the human body, where as the term "Splanchnomancy" specifically denotes the reading of internal organs freshly extracted from the abdominal cavity.
