A wonderful book by Nicholas A. Basbanes about book lovers. The subtitle is "Bibliophiles, Bibliomanes and the Eternal Passion for Books". It begins with a history of book lovers, including interesting stories about historical book lovers such as Samuel Johnson and Thomas Jefferson. It then moves on to the more eccentric modern day bibliophiles, including the story of a man who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars of books to "protect" them. If you have every wondered about the strange attachment of so many people to these outdated, often innefecient form of information, or share this wondrous affliction, this is a book well worth reading.
