This book is a collection of 26 humorous and educational poems with accompanying illustrations about the same number of historical personages, be they actual, fictional, or mythical. The poems, although a hundred plus years old, make interesting and memorable introductions to the characters covered and would make a great teaching (and learning!) tool. All intend to be found within this site, under their appropriate nodes, beginning with "Iago,", as Othello is one of my favorite Shakespearean plays.
