Anno Mundi: AN-no MUN-dee
Latin: Year of the World

Term used when counting from creation onward, as oppossed to the division set at the birth of Christ. This was used especially after Bishop Ussher "discovered" that the world was created in 4004 BC. From then, you count onward. By this calendar, we would be living in about 5997 or so. (Give or take; the world according to Ussher was created on October 23 or so).
