Atheistic agnosticism is the
belief that the knowledge of a
god or
gods is unknowable. While
athiests carry the belief that there is no god, and
thiests hold that
there is a god, atheistic agnostics ackowledge that while there is no possible way to prove that there is a god, that absence of
proof does not necesarily mean that there isn't one.
Atheistic agnosticism is not to be confused with
theistic agnosticism, which states that there is a god, but his
nature or
character is unknowable.
