"Big Man" is a massive
television screen, about 10 meters by 10 meters, in the
Hankyu train station in
Umeda in northern
Osaka, above the right entrance to the
Kinokuniya bookstore. At any given time of the day or night you can see a large
horde of people gathered beneith His
august presence, as He is a popular meeting place for people coming from different parts of the city, as in, "
Biggu Man ni aimashou" (Let's meet at Big Man!).
Sadly, Big Man's much lonlier brother, the denigratingly named "Co-Big Man," who resides over the left entrance to Kinokuniya, is, despite being of equal size and stature, vastly less popular and sorely neglected.
