Chuck Taine is the real name of Bouncing Boy. Bouncing Boy was once an
errand boy for a famous
scientist in
Metropolis. While delivering a super-plastic
formula, Chuck stopped to watch a
sporting event and in the
grand tradition of
comic books, mixed up his
soft drink with the bottle of formula. The formula gave him the
ability to
expand like a
balloon and then
bounce like a
rubber ball. Bouncing Boy applied for
membership in the
Legion of Super-Heroes and became their unofficial
morale officer.
Bouncing Boy is married to Duo Damsel.
For the record, Bouncing Boy has possibly the lamest excuse for a super power known to man.
