Brains Bitter is produced by the S.A. Brains Brewery in Cardiff. Weighing in a 3.7% ABV, Brains is quite a sweet bitter with a distinctive hoppy aftertase, produced by the use of whole cone Fuggles and Goldings hops in the brewing process. Often nicknamed "light",coming from the time when Brains only produced two beers, and the other was a dark mild ale, called Brains Dark.
