Carrara is a 3D modelling program. Originally by Metacreations, it is a combination of two other 3D modelling programs, Ray Dream Studio and Infini-D. When Metacreations divested all their graphics products in 1999, Carrara 1.0 was sold to Eovia (www.eovia.com). Eovia have recently released version 1.1 under the name Carrara Studio. The most prominent feature of Carrara is its modern user interface, which fuses components of both the Bryce 4 and Poser 4 user interfaces with a beautified traditional interface.
