My home town.
Situated near to the north coast of Nothern Ireland, in the county of Londonderry, on the mouth of the River Bann, Coleraine makes up the "triangle" with Portrush and Portstewart.
There's not a lot there, it does have one of the University of Ulster campuses, and despite easy distance of the Giant's Causeway and the wonderful Bushmills Whiskey distillery it's boring to visit.
It's still is a pretty, little town. Pretty girls and pretty little else left there as most of the young people have to leave there, following the long-established Irish tradition. There is an old Celtic cross crumbling in the Camus graveyard across the river from Mount Sandel, the little hillock where Vikings and Normans built their hopeful mottes & baillies.
