A term of purchase, meaning Delivedered Duty Paid. When a price is quoted, for example, "DDP your Siam Square Office" it means that the seller will ship the goods to your Siam Square office and pay basically everything; import and export duty (if they apply), any taxes involved, freight and insurance. Insurance is important, because the goods are the seller's responsibility until they arrive at the location specified.

DDP places a maxiumum of obligations on the seller. I guess that it would make a lot of sense to a seller that also owns a delivery network.

Terms of Purchase: FAS, FOB, c.i.f, EXW, DDP, FCA, CPT
