A small, private liberal arts college located about 25 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina along venerable I-77. Founded in 1832 as a Presbyterian institution, the college still maintains ties with the church, but is far more interested these days in charging even heathens ridiculous sums of money to attend their traditionally ridiculously rigorous school in hopes of getting into the medical school of their choice merely by waving their diploma about in the air.

Davidson has 1500 students, give or take, mostly well-bred children of NC Republicans, and is located in a town that effectively consists of only the college. The college does all students' laundry for them, thus effectively eliminating the opportunity to learn one of the most important college lessons: how to get beer stains and smells out of nice clothes.
