They tell you that you're
losing it, that you've stopped
caring, when really all you're doing is
falling and loving every second of it.
You tell yourself that this should be scary, but for some reason you cannot stop smiling. The fear has moved from your stomach to the rest of your body, all over in the form of tingles that make you giggle. People stop you and say that you look different, somehow, did you cut your hair? You say yes just to shut them up, because to explain would veil the excitement running through your life.
You eat whole coconuts and throw their husks at the moonlight, yelling at them as they fly.
You run over hills because they are there.
Right now you be happy to drown, even, happy to sink slowly, happy to do anything that would leave your arms free.
You are falling, but the air around you is saying so much more.
