The Free Will Baptists were started in North Carolina around 1727 under the leadership of a man named Paul Palmer. They preach a doctrine of "free grace, free will and free salvation". This essentially means that not only can anyone be saved (no predestination), but once saved people can still have the free will to turn away from God and thus fall from grace. In terms of doctrine, this puts Free Will Baptists in sharp contrast with other Baptist groups, who usually preach a doctrine of eternal security (i.e. if you're saved once, you're saved forever).
