Henry Kuttner, born April 7, 1915, was a science fiction and fantasy writer, whose shortened life would have been even more tragic has he not been so prolific and intelligent. Kuttner wrote continuously for nearly two decades before becoming burned out.

In 1940, he was voted Best Science Fiction Writer in the World by the World's SF Convention.

Both he and his wife, Catherine Lucille Moore, were actively engaged in radio scripting and screen writing when Henry died of a heart attack, February 4, 1958, only 42 years old.

(There has been unconfirmed speculation that in the period 1937 to 1940 published a handful of stories under the name Will Garth.)
