Almond and Apricot Moisturiser

Heat the beeswax, cocoa butter, apricot kernel oil and almond oil in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Dissolve the borax in the calendula infusion. Slowly add the infusion to the oil mixture, stirring constantly. Allow the mixture to cool, and pour into a dark glass jar. The moisturiser will keep for 2 months when refridgerated.

Rose and Almond Moisturiser

  • 1 teaspoon beeswax
  • 5 grams cocoa butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons almond oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon borax
  • 2 tablespoons rose petal infusion
  • a few drops rose essential oil

Heat the beeswax, cocoa butter, olive oil and almond oil in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Dissolve the borax in the rose petal infusion. Slowly add the infusion to the oil mixture, stirring constantly. Allow mixture to cool, and add the essential oil. Pour into a dark glass jar and store in refridgerator. Will keep for up to 2 months.
