An awesome British beatboxer. Calls himself 'the multivocalist', or 'human percussion'. Kela seems to produce a beat, a scratch sound and a 'sample' all at once. It's ridiculous. See him live if possible: his skill in timing, and the sheer quality of his voice, are very impressive.

He's known to collaborate with people like Normski and DJ Vadim. His debut album The Permanent Marker (Jazz Fudge) also features Akrobatik, Fallacy, and Mark Hype. The trademark sound incorporates drum & bass stylings, synth and 'vocal' samples, as well as very realistic vocal scratching.
