Lackluster is the name used currently by esa ruoho, also known as distance to release his music commercialy. So far, the IDM and Ambient Music work have been released on labels such as Kracfive, and lately the uk label deFocus, run by ex-Clear label founder, Clair.
It's still unclear to the rest of the world why he choosed the name lackluster, but it's probably due to his having a not so common critical judgement on his own music.
