In The Two Towers (second volume of the The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien), Meduseld was the golden hall of the Kings of Rohan at Edoras, wherein King Théoden held his court.
Meduseld was completed by Brego, son of the first king of Rohan, Eorl the Young, some time before the year 2570 III.
It was at Meduseld that the treachery of Gríma Wormtongue was uncovered (3019 III), and the strength of Rohan was won to the side of good, in the War of the Ring.
