Late 90s CBS sitcom, part of CBS Block Party a line-up created to compete with ABC's TGIF. Among the other programs in the block, were long-running TGIF favorites, Step by Step and Family Matters, which ABC had cancelled the season before.
Meego was toted by the network as Mork and Mindy or ALF for the 90s or a family friendly alternative to 3rd Rock From The Sun. It starred, Bronson Pinchot as a wacky shape-shifting alien who's spaceship crashes on Earth. He is found by some children and they convince their widowed father into hiring him as a nanny, hilarity ensues. Aired for 6 weeks before being canned, along with the rest of the Block Party programming.
