Natasha Richardson (born Natasha Jane Richardson) is an actress in theatre, television, and cinema. She was born May 11, 1963 in London, England, to actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson (who died of AIDS in 1991).

Much of her family has been involved in the acting profession, including her younger sister, Joely Richardson, her aunt Lynn Redgrave, and five matrilineal generations.

When she was young, she performed in London's Leeds Playhouse, and went on to pursue training at London's Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 1980.

She married Robert Fox in 1990 and divorced in 1992. She married actor Liam Neeson on July 3, 1994, after having worked with him in Anna Christie, and they now have two sons, Michael Antonio Neeson born in 1995, and Daniel Jack Neeson, born in 1997.

In 1986, she won the London Theatre Critics' Most Promising Newcomer award, and in 1998, she received a Tony Award for her portrayal of Sally Bowles in the musical "Cabaret".

[Editor's Note] Natasha Richardson passed away on March 18, 2009 after suffering a brain injury from a skiing accident on March 16, 2009.
