Musician - Irish traditional music

Uillean piper extraordinaire - what can happen if your father and his father before him were pipers too...

Paddy Keenan was part of the revivial of Irish traditional music in the 1970s by forming the influential Bothy Band in 1975 with Micheal and Triona Ní Dhomhnaill, fiddler Tommy Peoples, flute player Matt Molloy and Donal Lunny on Irish bozouki and guitar.

Drinking has not made Paddy's life any easier, but he has managed to remain a wonderful piper, and he released an impressive album "Na Keen Affair" in 1996.
