An
Australian author who writes fabulously clever, visual and touching children's books. In many of her later stories she incorporates elements of
aboriginal mythology. The background is well researched and her writing style makes the land spirits come alive, giving kids (and adults!) an introduction into
aboriginal culture and
legends that I have yet to see matched by another author.
