Enormous, terrifying, eight-lane road that rings
Mexico City in a belt of concrete and exhaust
fumes.
Or rather, almost rings: the Periferico starts at
Toreo de Cuatro Caminos in the unknown lands
of the North, and ends in Cuemanco.
In the South, it gives easy access to Tlalpan, the
UNAM and Xochimilco.
It is plied by many vehicles, including half the cars
in existance in Mexico and countless peseros.
