A member of the
Fatal Five.
The real name of the man known as the Persuader is unknown.
He is a high paid assassin who is super-strong. The Persuader
wields his Atomic Axe, a weapon from World War VII. The Axe is
invincible and invulnerable. It has the ability to cut through
an substance and is able to even cut forces like gravity,
magnetism, and force shilds. Though super-strong, the Persuader
is not invulnerable.
Offered a pardon by Princess Projectra to aid the Legion of Super-Heroes
in fighting a Sun-eater that had entered Earth's solar system, the
Persuader became one of the five original members of the Fatal Five. After
aiding the Legion in defeating the Sun-eater, the Fatal Five continued
to work together for their own ends.
