It recently occurred to me that when I see pictures of my parent's childhood, I have a tendency to visualize their entire world as being black and white. As if because cameras at the time didn't catch colors, it meant human eyes couldn't either.

It seems that computer graphics get closer everyday to being on par with reality. 3D movies are already possible. Holograms are basically pictures in three dimensions. I suppose 3D pictures are eventually going to become the standard. When/if they do:

  • Will that mean that my children are gonna believe I lived in a 2D world?
  • Are they going to be confused when I talk about depth perception?
  • Are they going to think females of my time had no womanly curves?

It is, in fact, quite unlikely that any of this will happen but I still find it an interesting concept, so feel free to add anything.
