The most
shocking example of
graphics over playability. ROTR was a stunning
SGI rendered game for early
90's game machines like the
SNES,
Genesis,
Amiga and
PC. The
PC version had lurvely rendered cut scenes and
sprites.
The only problem was that to finish the game all you had to do was hold up-left and kick. This would ensure
success every time, because your
evil robot foe would crouch into a corner and allow you to kick him to death.
