Nobel prize winning chemist and host of the educational video series/course "The World of Chemistry." Currently he is the Frank H. T. Rhodes Professor of Humane Letters at Cornell University.

Born in 1937 in Zloczow, Poland he survived the war and came to the U.S. in 1949 to study chemistry at first Columbia University and then Harvard University where he recieved his PhD in 1962. He recieved the Nobel Prize in 1981.

His accent is apparent in his speaking mannerism as many viewers of "The World of Chemistry" will notice.
