Seremban is the capital of the state of Negeri Sembilan, in Malaysia. It is a typical modern asian city, if a little quieter than most. In the outskirts are the lovely lake gardens, surrounding the palace.

There is also a mixture of interesting architecture styles, from British colonial buildings to Minangkabau "rumahs", Muslim Mosques and Christian Churches.

About a 45 minute drive away is the "Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendol", a family-oriented forest park. Nice if you want a bit of a bush walk or a soak in the river (bliss).
